Music for 2011-2012: Short Program - "The Man I Love" by George Gershwin; Long Program - "Daphnis and Chloe" by Maurice Ravel and "Reverie" by Claude Debussy

Goals for this Season: To become U.S. champions, return to and improve their placement at the World Championships, and medal at their Grand Prix assignments

Skating History: Amanda and Mark began skating together in 2002 after things didn't work out for each of them with previous pair partners. Their intricate programs and friendly personalities have made them popular competitors for the United States. They have steadily risen to the top group of US pairs and began receiving opportunities to compete internationally on the Grand Prix curcuit in 2005. They have placed in the top five at the US National Championships five of the last six years. They won the silver medal in 2010 which allowed them to reach their skating goal of making the Olympic and World teams that season. They came in 10th at the 2010 Olympic Winter Games and 9th at the 2010 World Championships. In the 2010-11 season, they won their first medal on the GP circuit, the bronze, which they received at the Rostelecom Cup in Russia. They won their second consecutive silver medal at the 2011 US National Championsips and followed that up with an eleventh place finish at Worlds. They have skated in several benefit shows, including Jimmy Fund's "Evening with Champions" and Parker Pennington's "Skate for Life."
